5 Social Media tips For Beginners

With Facebook alone, there are 1.94 BILLION users monthly who utilize the social media platform. If utilized properly, you can begin to present your product or service to these people through paid and organic marketing advertisements.

2. Develop a marketing budget.
To grow your social media, it is best to develop a marketing budget. Even if you are a small company or even working alone with a limited budget, it helps to pre-determine what that budget is and how you can maximize it. While developing your budget, here are a few things to consider.

What result would like to see from marketing on social media?
Who is my target audience?
What is the tone of my social media content?
What is my expected or desired ROI (rate of return) from paid advertisements?

If you are a service or product based business, you will not let your customer complaints linger unaddressed beneath content on your social media or posted in a fashion that others can see. You will want to address these “deflectors” as soon as possible.
In addition to customer complaints, you might find consumers who are looking to buy and are not sure how to, you’ll want to address these consumers with the same sense of urgency as those with a possible complaint.
By building a rapport with your customer base, you are helping to push your brand as being trustworthy, committed to it its consumers and one with great customer service, and if you are not product or serviced based, interaction will attract and maintain existing followers.

5. BE CONSISTENT!!
Social media is like a revolving door. If you are not consistent with your content, post etc. your social clients will become disinterested, social media platforms will begin to push your content out of your customer’s timelines and you will begin to lose value. While being consistent, it is imperative to remember to also not be excessive. You do not need to post every hour on social media to grow, you just need to use the platforms right.
